Diane's first efforts at home-recording and album-making, self-released on CD-R in 2000, the same year she stumbled into NYC's Antifolk scene at Sidewalk Cafe. "Monte Carlo" was included in "Antifolk Volume 1" compiled by Adam Green & Kimya Dawson of The Moldy Peaches, released through Rough Trade Records.
