Dear Folks,

I'm returned with more news of spring things...

A show in Baltimore's been added for this Saturday, April 30th @ The Four Hour Day Lutherie. Another nice 'n' early one, 6:30pm doors, 7pm music. Wonderful musician and naturalist Marian McLaughlin will play a short opening set as will finger-style guitarist Pergola. Advance tickets here, or suggested donation at the door.

Show in D.C. @ Rhizome w/ Rosie Cima + Kelly Servick is still on for Sunday, May 1st @ 2-4:30pm. Oooh, (optional) audience participation to be expected. Tix here

Currently I'm putting together some US tour dates. Here's what that looks like:

Dates with * are unconfirmed, and I'm open to invites & suggestions. If you'd like to help fill in my itinerary, please be in touch and thank you! If you're curious about hosting, my House Concert Form will give you an idea of the kind of events I like to co-create.

June 7th, 7-9pm ET: SONGWORKER: Two hours of discussion + Q&A about my experience as a full-time musician. The term "songworker" includes the various artistic and administrative tasks involved in bringing music from the realm of private creation into the ears of others. This interactive discussion is recommended for those who feel they'd benefit from being able to ask me direct questions pertaining to craft, workflow, finances, and lifestyle as a mid-career musician who takes a mainly D.I.Y. approach. More info & register here

25% of proceeds from SONGWORKER will be donated to Music Makers Relief Foundation
, an organization founded in 1994 by Tim and Denise Duffy to "help the true pioneers and forgotten heroes of Southern music gain recognition and meet their day-to-day needs". (Tim created this tintype portrait.) Read more about their mission here.

June 5th, 5-6pm ET: Online Concert--it's been awhile! Hosting this concert is a way of performing new material before heading out on tour, and reaching those who live in the many areas I won't be traveling through anytime soon! Tix here

Please note: Both the online concert & discussion mentioned above are free for my Patreon subscribers: patreon.com/dianecluck

Last week I received a Google Alert that made me feel giddy with pride and joy. In Madison, WI a new/old record store is about to open, and the owner has named her shop Boneset Records after my 2014 album. WOW! I hope to visit Madison and play an in-store show someday. Congratulations, Maggie Denman--you can read the story of Denman's new/old shop here. The vision includes being "a warm place for people to gather in a constant environment of music" and "a cozy hangout, with couches and listening stations".

  • Now Booking for May, 1:1 Creative Mentoring sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. How can I support you in making your songs? Info & booking here.

  • Six spaces open in my 12-Week Songwriting Workshop that begins on September 4th. Never wrote a song before? That's a-okay. Info & register here.

Spring a'flinging, all stops and starts and tender hearts,

Diane
