Just a brief note to say that I'm looking forward to playing in L.A. this coming Monday, June 17th at Genghis Cohen with June Youngblood. It's been so long since I've flown West and I dream of landing softly amongst friends old and new. Tickets are here.

Last weekend we held a sweet recital for my young piano students before everyone dispersed to the summer winds. This September my 12-Week Songwriting Workshop returns. Group work brings heartful focus to this era of digitally-influenced ADD! These workshops tend to fill to capacity; currently there are seven spaces open for the fall. More info & register here.

 

Still packing for my morning flight, I'm thinking about how one of my tiny pieces in this world is to sometimes publicly play songs. With so much destruction and distress in the literal air, my basic prayer is for all of the tiny peaces we create by carrying through with our tiny pieces.
