Diane Cluck

Dear Friends,

Winter wends its way...icicles dangle from the trees here in Virginia, though we've no snow yet to speak of. Below are some ways in which you can help support me as a musician through the cold season...as I can potentially help warm you through the making of musical goods!

I've joined Patreon: http://patreon.com/dianecluck. Here you can hear my new and unreleased works-in-progress, and also join me for online concerts, studio visits, workshops and more. Between fully-fledged albums I tend to be a prolific idea person, and with enough patrons (my goal is 200) this can be a strong mode of both artistic support and exchange. There are currently three new posts at Patreon that will be released to you through your patronage of $3, $5, $10 or more per month. Sample song for download at the end of this message.

New-To-Songwriting: In January-February I'm offering a six-week workshop that introduces skills and creative approaches to songwriting. This live, online series will include craft talks, writing prompts and group exercises in an encouraging environment. Experience in songwriting, singing, or playing an instrument are not required--you’re most welcome with your current level of skill. The workshop is being offered in two different sessions and is limited to twelve participants in each: Saturdays January 9th - February 13th (three spaces left) or Sundays January 10th - February 14th, both from 2:30-4pm ET. (That's 11:30am-1pm PT,  7:30-9pm GMT, or 8:30-10pm CET.) Learn more & register here: http://dianecluck.info/tour-events

Fresh Rosemary Salve is up in my store--available in single 1-oz. jars or a package of three: http://dianecluck.info/store. It's a wonderful handmade holiday gift/winter item to have on hand. (I'll be making pre-Christmas trips to the post office today/Friday, Saturday and Monday.) This batch is special as I harvested the rosemary from a bush gifted to me by Colin Killalea who co-produced, engineered and played on my recent album. I began making Rosemary Salve years ago for family as a remedy for split fingers in winter. Reports are that it works!

Lastly, if you're interested in one-on-one music lessons or in commissioning original songs or art, these are also available for purchase in my online store: dianecluck.info/store. If I may be of service in other creative ways, please be in touch!

Thank you kindly if you've made it this far in my newsletter. I appreciate your support as musicians and so many others are creating alternate employment situations for themselves at this time. Until in-person performance resumes I'm happy to continue teaching, writing and making from home, and look forward to sharing these fruits with you through the coming year.

May we all find our ease as we're in a great process of un-/learning.

Wishing you a peaceful holiday time.

Love,
Diane
